How to earn money online

Many people ask me this question. How to earn money online. Well its not easy to earn money online but then its not impossible either. You need to know what all opportunities exists online and accordingly plan your strategy based on your strenghts. Following are the few domains which you could explore.

1) Freelancing - This is the most popular way to earn money. Many websites gives you the opportunity to work with clients across the globe in the skills which you are strong at. Some of the major freelancing websties are :

  • Upwork. With over 1.5 million clients, Upwork (previously oDesk) offers something for every type of freelancer. ...
  • Toptal. ...
  • Elance. ...
  • Freelancer. ...
  • Craigslist. ...
  • Guru. ...
  • 99designs. ...
  • Peopleperhour.
2) Taking tutions online. Many people teach online through portals like tutorvista.com etc. One of the major challenges of such websites is payment is very less. Better to teach outside through live class rather than taking online classes.

3) Selling on ecommerce websites like amazon, flipkart. This is very good way to earn money because you can sell the quality products at very premium rates. Only disadvantage is huge commission which eats-up your larger profit. Amazon typically charges 30% profit margin and you are left with hardly any margin. On top of that repeated returns by the buyers makes it pretty hard. Still many people buy stuff from aliexpress and sell the same goods on amazon with decent profit.

4) Moderator for website. Many websites pay you for commenting on their posts. I remember few of the websites used to pay 10$ for meaningful comment that you posted on their article. Unfortunately i cant name those sites and also that program is over now. I am sure you will find many such similar websites which pays for digital content.

5) Selling photos online : If you are good photographer and have pretty decent camera then you can try stock photography. Create new concepts and sell them online. There is huge demand for concept photography and creativity is always appreciated. Also if you can market yourself very well then you create your own video content and sell them.

6) If you are good at art you can pursue the field of graphic designer. Its highly paid job but you need to be exceptionally good at what you are doing. You can create your own content and you can sell it on websites like https://graphicriver.net/

7) Social media marketing : This is very hot field and many people are jumping on to this bandwagon. The concept is very similar to offline marketing just that you mimic the same thing in virtual social media. You can create your own followers through facebook, twitter and feed them the ad content and thus earn through CPC or get direct payment from your clients.

8) Youtuber : Youtube pays if your video goes viral and your views crosses few lakhs. Although the earning ratio is pretty less but if the video gathers huge views then i am sure the earning becomes substantial. There are different ways to calculate how much you can earn from views. If you are prankster, or good at teaching or good at speaking then try creating your own video and post it. Some creative people also take existing videos digitally edit it so that youtube doesnt identify it as copy of original and post it and monetize it.

9) Content creation : If you are good at animation, photoshop etc you can create small videos for kids or educational videos and you can sell them.

10) Blogging : You can earn decent amount of profit by inserting ads in your blogs.

There are many other ways to earn money through online, but these are few of them that are listed. I will try to update them in future.

Cheers. Happy earning.
